In the Hessian town of Hungen, abakus solar AG built an outdoor-site solar farm with elevated PV installations covering an area of 80,000 m2 that was connected to the grid in late 2009. Property developer, Hungen municipal utilities, have achieved an overall peak output of up to 2.86 megawatts.

An important contribution to this performance was made by Power PV.250, a solar inverter designed by ALFA Power Solutions.
